In this episode of PBS' Great Performances, the history and legacy of puppeteer Jim Henson is explored, from his six-second commercial beginnings to a five-season run on ABC of The Muppet Show to several theatrically released films, including five Muppet movies, The Dark Crystal, and Labyrinth.

The film follows two childhood best friends, Maya and Anjali, who join their college’s competitive Bollywood dance team only to discover that the road to winning the national championship is far more raucous and cutthroat than they ever imagined.

Brian Wilde left the series, and the role of Mike's flatmate, early on and was replaced by Bernard Fox (I): three of the cast from this, Medwin, Fox and George Roderick, re-teamed the following year in "Three Live Wires" (1961).
